CHEMISTRY FOR HUMAN WELFARE-PROMISES & CONCERNS

Introduction

The objective of science seminar is inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and
analytical thinking in the mind of students .The seminar will be held on a competitive
basis from school level to national level. From each school one student can participate
in Sub –District Level Science Seminar. First & Second place winners (only 2) from
each Sub- District can participate in Revenue District level Science Seminar. First
two winners from each Revenue District can participate at State level Science Seminar
which is going to be held at SRV HSS ERNAKULAM by the end of August

POINTS TO NOTE
Language: Malayalam, English, Hindi or any recognized Indian language.
Pattern
Seminar will be held on three stages
1) An objective type written aptitude test
10 Marks
2) Seminar presentation for max 6 minutes

80 Marks
3) A question answer session by judges
10 Marks

Aptitude test will be conducted in common.
Presentation and oral questions by Judges will be conducted individually
Participants can use a maximum of 5 supporting visuals (charts/ slides)
Charts maximum size 850mm*600mm, Charts are to be mounted one top of another as
in a calendar (one side only.)
Computer slides should not have additional features like animation, pop ups, rollovers etc

Novelty in use of visuals
Answer to oral questions
